The Exo Terra Moonlight UVA LED allows for nocturnal viewing of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates without disrupting their day and night cycles. This 5W LED emits a soft ultraviolet light, similar to the UV rays given off by the moon, providing a unique viewing experience for your animals. UVA light can also makes scorpions and certain spiders, spider webs, insects, mushrooms and even minerals, glow in the dark. The rays can even stimulate spider mating behaviour. With an energy consumption of only 5W, the Moonlight UVA LED consumes nearly 70% less energy than a conventional night light, and does not interfere with natural night time temperature drops.
