Smart, effective construction secures your load without unnecessary bulk, using durable, recycled nylon derived from discarded fishing nets. The Sweetwater UL 60L leads the pack on any multi-day trek. Efficient, ergonomic design puts fit first, keeping even large loads snug across chest, back, and shoulders, while the proprietary integrated frame system transfers weight directly into the frame sheet, through the lumbar, down to the articulated hip belt. Recycled regen™ Ocean 70D high tenacity robic nylon ripstop made from discarded fishing nets, treated with a water resistant coating without intentionally added PFAS
Strength
High-tenacity robic yarn is ultralight and 25% - 30% stronger than regular yarn in the same denier
Coating
Water resistant Ultra Tear Strength (UTS) coating gives shell fabric a soft feel and enhances tear strength
Abrasion Panels
Recycled, high tenacity 210D robic nylon oxford with UTS coating
Lining
Silicone-treated, recycled ultralight 40D nylon ripstop with waterproof UTS coating
Padding
Shoulder straps, hip belt, and back panel: Recycled EVA foam
Rain Cover
Recycled nylon ripstop with a waterproof, tear-resistant coating
Cleaning
Light Cleaning
For light cleaning, sponge the product with warm water (not hot).
Supplies Needed
Wash basin (or bath tub), Warm water (not hot), Waterproof Gear Cleaner (we recommend products like Nikwax Tech Wash), Sponge
Step 1
Submerge your Pack in warm, clean water. Gently agitate with hands. Empty dirty water. Repeat until most of the excess dirt/grime is removed and water is mostly clear.
Step 2
Apply waterproof gear specific wash and gently work into fabric with sponge.
Step 3
Rinse Pack thoroughly.
Step 4
Hang it up to dry.
Step 5
Triple check that your Pack is completely dry before storage or use.
Important Notes
Warnings
Do not dry clean or machine-wash. Detergents and dry cleaning solvents will damage the fabric and ruin waterproofing. Never use hot water, bleach, liquid detergents, or dishwashing liquids. Allow to dry COMPLETELY before storage or use. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight as UV exposure can compromise waterproofing.
Repairs and Warranty
Coverage
All Big Agnes gear is guaranteed against manufacturing or material defect. We do not warranty products damaged from normal wear and tear, alteration made by owner, misuse, accidents, or damages caused by uses other than intended. Damage due to misuse, normal wear and tear, or improper care may be repaired, at the discretion of Big Agnes, at a reasonable charge. Gear returned for repair must be clean and free of debris.
