Low Level Peroxide Test Strip up to 400 ppm. This test strip can be used to test pools and hot tubs where peroxides, rather than chlorine, are used to sanitize and in concentrations 100 PPM or greater. Recommended peroxide levels vary, therefore, the test strip can be used to test the concentrations users prefer. This strip can also test peroxide utilized to to sterilize hydroponic greenhouse reservoirs. It is important to regularly clean greenhouse reservoirs and using water with peroxide is a popular means of achieving this. Proactive cleaning of greenhouse reservoirs reduces algae, the amount of microbes in the water, and ultimately can lead to higher yields from healthier plants. This test can also be utilized for eliminating competitor spores & bacteria by mushroom cultivars to support mycelial growth. NOTE: Solutions with a concentration of 400ppm will exhibit a dark, black spot on the center of the test pad 45 seconds after dipping.

Recommended peroxide levels vary, therefore, the test strip can be used to test the concentrations users prefer.Instructions:Remove one test strip from the vial. Do not touch the test pad with your fingers.Dip the test strip into the solution being tested for 1 second.Remove and shake off any excess liquid. Compare the test pad to the color chart after 30 seconds.NOTE: If this test strip is used in very high concentrations of Peroxide (above 2000ppm or 0.2%), the test strip will not turn purple. Instead, it will turn an off-white with a hint of green.
